The media and communications sector is a sector that’s extremely sensitive to new risks, including mainly cyber risks. Therefore, when operating insurance schemes in this sector, we focus on a detailed analysis of individual risk elements occurring on the Client’s side resulting from the infrastructure owned, its management and security. An extremely important element is also the identification of risks arising from contractual agreements concluded by entities in this sector with contractors of particular services.
The insurance schemes implemented for this industry often require us to implement proven solutions from European markets not available on the Polish market, which we successfully implement.
Sample Implementations:
- Preparation, implementation and operation of the insurance scheme of one of the largest radio broadcasters in the country, including the implementation of solutions mitigating the risks to which the organisation is exposed in connection with its business activity;
- Implementation and operation of the insurance scheme of one of the largest commercial televisions in the country. The operation of the programme required the adjustments of dozens of losses related to the insurance of equipment of the production crews, including individual journalists producing programmes in conflict zones;
- Implementation of solutions related to participation of news teams in various events, including the Olympic Games;
- Preparing an insurance scheme for the costs of cancelling events for one of the largest broadcasters in the country;
- Preparing a treatment abroad cost scheme for high sums insured for correspondents, including war correspondents, taking into account Accident Insurance;
- Development of an insurance scheme for multimedia archives, taking into account the costs of restoration and the costs of specialist expert opinions necessary to open the material contained on the media carriers.
